I’ve been playing the SIMS 3 for long. But it is very boring while we have to take a nap in the middle of something or have to be hygiene all the time. I heard that there are some cheats available for this game. So, anyone using the cheat codes for the SIMS 3? If so, please leave them below. Also mention how to use them on the game.
Here is a list of available cheat codes you can use in the SIMS 3. Different from the normal cheat code input methods, in the SIMS, you will have to launch the code console by pressing Control+Shift+C and then enter the cheat codes.
Note: In the below codes some of them are marked as on/off which means, you only have to enter on or off alongside the code. Not together.

| constrainFloorElevation [true/false] | Allows all terrain adjustments regardless of objects, Sims, and other structures. Walls, floors, and objects will move with the terrain. This is very useful inseveral situations |
| freerealestate | Allows buying any house you want in the Map mode |
| enableLlamas [on/off] | Simply gives a message saying “Llamas enabled” |
| jokePlease | Simply gives you a Joke |
| RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings [on/off] | Allows changes to lot otherwise restricted by the Homeowner’s Association |
| hideHeadlineEffects (on/off) | Hides all meters and effects in the game |
| help | Lists all available commands at the moment. |
| slowMotionViz | Puts the game in slow motion. Optional parameter, value 0 = normal speed and 8 = slowest |
| ResetLifetimeHappiness | Resets the lifetime happiness of all the sims in an active household |
| resetSim | Resets the named Sim with neutral motives, no moodlets, and teleports Sim back home instantly |
| buydebug [on/off] | Shows all hidden items in buy mode after using the testingcheatsenabled true cheat |
| HideHeadlineEffects (on/off) | Shows or hides talk/thought balloons above Sims heads. If it distracts you, use this. |
| fadeObjects [on/off] | Toggles whether objects fade when the camera gets close to them in the game |
| fps on/off | Shows your Frame per Second on the screen |
| DisplayLotPackageFileName [on/off] | Switches lot tooltips to on or off |
| testingcheatsenabled true | Testing Cheats, just hold shift and click a Sim, or anything else, like your Mailbox after enabling this |
| unlockOutfits on/off | Unlocks outfits in Create a Sim (CAS) mode |
| AlwaysAllowBuildBuy (true/false) | If you want the build mode and buy mode to not disable themselves during fires and burglary, turn this on |
| DisableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt On/Off | Disable snapping to slots and rotate in any direction also (when holding on alt) |
| disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt [on/off] | If turned on, objects will not snap to slots while holding the alt button |
| quit | Quit the game. |
