Where does Teamviewer store its logs? I am trying to access my previous usage logs of Teamviewer and can’t figure out how to find it. Does anyone here have experience with accessing Teamviewer logs? If so, could you help me in finding it?
You can access Teamviewer logs with the following steps based on the operating system you are using.
Access Teamviewer Logs on Windows or macOS
- Go to Extras > Open Log Files from your Teamviewer dashboard.
- You have to look for a file named “TeamViewer123_Logfile.log”. “123” is the version of your Teamviewer.
Sometimes, there maybe also another file with “OLD” at the end. That is the old log file.
Additionally, if you want to manually find the log files, you can directly go to
- C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer - on Windows
- Macintosh HD > Users > yourusername > Library > Logs > TeamViewer - on macOS
Access Teamviewer Logs on Linux
If you are using a Linux installation, you can simply use the following command to get the log file.
sudo teamviewer ziplog
