Teamviewer instance already running

Whenever I try running Teamviewer, I am getting the message saying “Another instance of teamviewer is already running. Please close this instance before restarting Teamviewer.”

How to fix this issue?

Make sure that you exit Teamviewer after usage. Check if the teamviewer service is still running in the task bar and if it is, right click on it and Exit Teamviewer.

If you cannot find it in the task bar and the problem is still happening, open the Task Manager and end any Teamviewer services that you see and try accessing Teamviewer again. This should solve the issue.
